The Okavango Delta - Macattoo!

Botswana The Okavango Delta is an area known for the richness and variety of game to be seen from horseback. Although the camp is tented it is extremely comfortable, each tent is twin bedded with en suite facilities. It would become your base for the 5, 7 or 10 night stay, depending on the itinerary selected. On the longer safaris guests will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding out to a mobile fly camp with traditional bucket shower and loo.

Horses are a variety of thoroughbreds, Namibian Hanovarians, Arabs and Kalahari-Arab crossbreeds ranging from 14 to and 16.2 hands. Riders need to be a minimum of 16 years old and no more than 15 stone in weight. On a normal day riders will spend between 4 and 6 hours in the saddle. tina.

Costs: These are between £250 and £350 per person per night, depending on the season. The price includes all accommodation, activities, meals, beverages (within reason) and VAT. These rates exclude: Visas, travel & medical insurance, International flights and connection to Maun and from Maun to Macatoo Camp return, staff tips and personal purchases.

The Limpopo Valley - Mashatu!

"The Land of the Giants" is an area of great diversity, magnificent vistas and land
formations as ancient as time itself. It is also home to a multitude of wildlife
species and remains untouched by the invasion of man. Our riding trails are
conducted in the Limpopo Valley and cover both the riverine terrain and the true
African bushveld including the famous granite rock formations of the Tuli.

The horses have been individually selected for their temperament and ride-ability.
They have been carefully chosen from the various South African breeds including
Boerperd, the Basuto and the S.A. Warmblood. They range in size from 14.3.h to 16.
hh and are assorted in colour .

Costs: The safaris are normally 8 days (7 nights) in duration and the costs range between US$240 - US$310 per person per day ( approx: £140 - £185) All inclusive. It excludes international flights, internal road transfer (approx £90 per person) and staff tips.

Okavango Delta Safaris!

The vast inland delta, one of Southern Africa's most enigmatic river systems, lies like
an emerald jewel on the edge of the great Kalahari desert, an astonishing maze of
papyrus lined waterways, meadows and woodland rich in birdlife and game. On
horseback you can venture further into the delta and get closer to the wildlife than
you can on foot.

The horses are full and part thoroughbred, pure Arab, Anglo Arab, American saddle
bred. Tack is English style and each saddle has a seat saver for comfort. Maximum
weight is 210lbs. Minimum riding ability required is mastery of the basic aids.

Costs: The safaris are either 5, 7 or 10 night safaris and the costs range between £310 and £352 person per night all inclusive. It excludes the international flight, internal air transfer (£148 ret/per person) and staff tips.
